Yoga is important not only for physical strength and has applications as an active treatment modality for sleep.
While there is a study showing that yoga can help with insomnia in people without other coexisting conditions, there are also other articles showing yoga helping individuals with their sleep who also have obesity, hot flashes, fibromyalgia, and PTSD.
At the time this article is being written, many are still social distancing and staying away from gyms and yoga studios. However, in spite of this there are many ways to still get involved.
One great app I found that is actually 5 minute yoga, available for iOS and Android. It's free and a quick way to wind down before bed.
